| After seeing others in their community make improvements to their own yards these clients felt it was time to consider their own backyard renovation. Similar to many homes in today’s subdivisions there was a disconnect between the outdoors and the character of the residence. Making a potential connection between yard and home even worse was a severely sloping backyard. The master plan had to create an outside environment that was an extension of the home while accommodating significant changes in elevation. Our final landscape design incorporated multiple levels and unified various hardscape materials within a cohesive arrangement of outdoor spaces that together created a wonderful compact garden environment that enhanced our client’s lifestyle.
