Yellow Springs Residence 2

Occasionally a client asks you to make design recommendations on how to alter or improve something already built. Unhappy with the current appearance of their water features this client was interested in how the water features could be visually improved making their pool and patio environments more dynamic. The main objectives with the design was to make the water feature appear more natural, improve its appearance, and finally increase the acoustic value of the water feature. Nearly all the stone used in the original construction was eliminated in order to introduce stones and boulders with an eroded weathered look more indicative of a streambed environment.
